The staytem is acting normally, it’s preventing you from backing into or over things. Tomorrow to is a known issue (easy fix, just search forums)

I have has this happen. Now my brakes lock up when reversing. Jeep told me the problem does not exist unless the dealership can recreate it. I have screen glitching constantly, the stereo system says loading tom tom, freezes, goes black, makes a screeching noise and won't do anything. Nothing but issues amd the dealership where we live doesn't want to look at it because they don't want to deal with intermittent issues. They are also locally owned. Jeep. One big nightmare and death trap.

I'm not sure how to send you a private message on this forum. I have had 2 different customer retention specialists for my nonstop electrical failures and problems. I have been fighting with jeep since January 2024. I have demanded a buy back under idaho lemon law and demanded arbitration and I have not received a response at all regarding that written demand.

I can assure the system is not acting normally. If there's something behind me then yes it's normal. There's nothing behind me. I know how my car is supposed to work I also know when there's a major problem.

I think we should keep the message public. Jeep doesn't seem to want to help me so I think everyone should get to see what jeep and their service at dealerships have out us through. My car is in fact throwing codes, and because they read stored, they have been being deleted. I have BCM failure codes electoral failure codes, and my car is trying to put itself into 4wd low while driving it. I was told it's safe to drive today. The cars pulling codes and they are not being addressed and that's not how it should be handled. The brakes locking up in reverse, the stereo issues, the lock issues, the pano alarm issues, the list goes on and on. But keep driving the car with brake issues, jeep doesn't deem it unsafe ad the problem does not exist because there aren't any codes and it's intermittent. Do better jeep.

Has anyone had any issues with the main screen display going black, shutting off, red screen sweeping from left to right side and not working at all? Also buzzing in the speakers when this is on going? Now as of this morning my wife was on the way back from taking our kids to school and she said the drivers dash lit up with lights, "dingers" going off and 4X4 lights flashing and stabilitrak warning flashing, and locked up the emergency braking! After multiple restart attempts she was able to get it home and in the driveway the same thing happened. We contacted the dealership and we are getting it towed there to be checked out. The vehicle is only a few months old with about 3400 miles on it.
Has anyone had this happen, any of these issues? The main display has done this multiple times but this new issues is extremely alarming activating the emergency brake system while driving is something that I, nor she, is comfortable with. Any help is very much appreciated.
Sure have jeep needs to make things right and buy it back!!!

I have the same problem. They can't fix the brake issue. I had a star case and for 2 months my car sat in the shop from August until the end of october. They claim the braking system is extra sensitive. It's a good time when the brakes lock up on you or the 4wd low is trying to engage while driving.
The wagoneer rep told me to disable the braking system. After 9 trips to the shop, whiplash to my neck, it is still not fixed and it won't be. Just be careful when you disable the emergency brake and auto braking and pedestrian auto brakes, the car likes to go crazy because it has severe electrrical issues jeeo cant and wont fix, and will turn them back on.
We call ours the death trap. They wont buy it back and now refuse to reimburse rental fees and car payments because I filed arbitration but the arbitration company will not contact me. It was last may, now they promised my car payment and loss of use and rental car fees and won't pay me a dime. 10k for those 2 months and we got a big f you.

can you tell me what to try as to why our ebrake keeps coming on while we're driving? It never did this before and tonight my husband was stuck blocking a busy road because it wouldn't let him drive
Turn off the emergency brake and all other autobraking systems. That was the star case suggestion. They cant fix it. Mine locks up when reversing, turn it off and the autobraking system still slammed the brakes and out me in park. Nothing behind the car or even near it and I am on flat ground. We have to hit the gas to get it to back up when it locks up. They don't have a fix. Same with the black screens, no fix. Autostart works when it wants or tries to kill the car in the middle of intersections.
Class action lawsuit pending for 22 and 23 gw for braking issues and power steering. Owned mine almost 2 years, biggest pos I've ever bought.

Our '24 had the emergency brake activate after we left an intersection, locked up the brakes, nothing anywhere near the car. This freaked out the family, then about two weeks later error messages for the blind spot and emergency braking displayed randomly. Sadly, we have had many issues with 3200 miles on the clock and owned since December '24. Coming up on two weeks without any feedback on the issues. Longtime Jeep owners, we are pretty disappointed.

We bought our Wagoneer used, but still under factory warranty at time. Took it to dealership for oil change and tire rotation and was told no Wagoneer perks because not purchased new. Really? Ever since we took for service there has been horrible vibration. Initially it was because dealership did not balance tires. Service Manager would not return message. Have had tires rotated and balanced a few times now at local shop, but still vibration. Now told vibration caused two tires to strangely wear unevenly in middle of tread and now have to replace two tires. Also told had to replace brakes and rotors. Vehicle not even at 50,000 miles and brakes and rotors were fine prior to dealership having it. Now dash is lit up like Xmas tree after brakes replaced. Infotainment screen freezes and seems to be short because will switch or skip songs if hit bump. This has turned out to be a regrettable purchase so far.

Different idsyes
Yes some warranty/benefits only apply to original lessor/ owner, same with BMW
Vibration - search this site about road force balance
Brakes - big heavy truck, depends on miles.. ask to see old parts
Dash - yup that’s a known issue search this site

love hate relationship get used to it or get rid of it, you bought used
