Thank you! My local dealer refuses to service the car… they told me to take it back to the dealer that I purchased the car from which is 400 miles away…Ive been trying to get an appointment elsewhere but then I would need a loaner but can’t seem to find anything local within 50 miles with a loaner… my local dealer is literally 2 blocks away from my house so I would not need a loaner but they refuse to service the car. I called jeep HQ They told me they are allowed to do that if they’re backed up or if they don’t have Techs that know how to service Grand Wagoneers… I’ve never heard of anything like that before though.
These types of posts are head scratching. Either half the story is being told or you easily respond to someone who tells you to roll over.

If the dealership is a Wagoneer Certified dealer I dont understand the issue but not all dealers are willing to do what it takes to become one. Check the Wagoneer Certified list and see if they are. Once again get on google, FB and all the others and post your reviews describing their refusal to work on it.

I certainly will check to see if they are certified…looking at the reviews of the dealership 2.7 stars… only positive reviews are people who purchased cars otherwise all service reviews are negative . I can certainly see why.

When will Wagoneer owners realize the “Wagoneer Certified Dealer” label is and has always been a sham.

I am also looking at the 2024 W or GW. Looking for someone here that might have a 2024 vehicle and says it's the best thing since sliced bread. Fingers crossed.
Our 10 week old, 1500 miles 2024 series 2 was completely dead last night, no warning. Charged battery overnight. Drove to dealer today with check engine light on. We'll see but disappointed, kills trust in it. Wish nissan had a comparable vehicle.

I have never owned a Jeep before, but most loyal Jeep owners have accepted that reliability is an issue. Is this assessment true?
I’ve owned 5 jeeps and have 4 right now. A 2024 Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve, a 2023 GW L Series III, a 2020 Grand Cherokee Overland (bought for my daughter), a 2019 Grand Cherokee Overland, and a 2024 Wrangler Rubicon (bought for my granddaughter). I have had zero problems with any of them. None. Zip!
And no, I don’t work for Jeep or a Jeep dealership. I work in Cardiac surgery and have to be able to get to the OR despite any weather. I also own a 2010 Chevy Z-71 which is perfect, and was my first “get to work despite hurricanes” (I live in south Texas toward Galveston). My granddaughter drives the Rubicon as a daily drive; my daughter has over 90,000 miles on her 2020 Overland.
I can’t guarantee that anyone would have the good experience and good service that I’ve had.
But I can say this: I’d take a Jeep over a Mercedes any day of the week and twice on Sunday. We’ve had two Mercedes and both were loads of trouble.

Thanks @JamesParrish for the response.

I really like the design of the W/GW. It checks all the boxes for a family of my size. This will be an everyday driving vehicle. I might opt for the more efficient V6. My GLS guzzles gas already, and this one likely will guzzle even more. I'd like something comparative the least. I'll be driving 60 miles daily.

I have the High Output I-6. 510hp and 500ft-lbs torque. Man, it is a beast! If you stomp on the gas, which I do way too often, the head snapping acceleration just doesn’t stop! It amazes me that for a 7,000lb vehicle, it will outrun a V-8 Mustang not just off the line, but completely down the line. I haven’t tried to see how fast it is from 0-60, but it’s fast. Maybe sub-6’s, but I really don’t know. Of course, my gas mileage sucks because of my driving habits, but HOLY SMOKES at the acceleration!! And I have the L series, so you can put a ton of luggage behind the 3rd row seats, or, in my case, I cut my daughter’s grass (single mom), and I can put a full length weed whacker, a blower, and an EGO mower (I’m too old to lift a gasoline mower), and still have room for more.
