Does anyone have a TSB about updating the map file/informant to the 2023 version? My setup has the map file dated 2021 but does not that a map update was received in July 2023, but I think I’m understanding that the underlying 2021 file also needs to be updated. Thanks
If you follow the USB update process in this thread using the map files to the Stellantis site, you will get the latest update.

Same problem for us with our 23 Grand Cherokee, have had it for 5 weeks now, scheduled to go back to dealer for 5th time, last week they replaced the battery as that is what Stelantis engineers told them was causing it. That "fix" lasted 11 miles, then back to TomTom taking over the display and rebooting every 3-5 minutes. They need to dump TomTom and put in a real navigation program.

Can’t tell what difference is has or hasn’t made, but WCS told me to download the 2023 main maps file from the link in this thread and update it myself. It worked but took a while to download. The dealer also applied a TSB advised software update a few weeks ago - it’s been less of an issue with rebooting since then. Not sure what the underlying map update has fixed or changed. I am receiving OTA map updates too. Both files now show a 2023 date.

I just bought a 2023 Grand Wagoneer L and it would seem like every 5-7 mins when listening to carplay, it would change screens to tomtom. My music continued, but the screen would change. I figured this was just a factory setting i was unaware of until I did a google search and stumbled upon these forums. Now I'm concerned I just paid 100k for a glitchy system lol. I do use carplay for my navigation though, and since the audio wasn't interupted from tomtom loading, I have no reason to believe carplay nav will change either.. just annoying tapping my screen every 5 mins to bring my carplay screen back up.

I would make sure the dealer has applied all the right software updates. Mine seems much more stable now. It’s not totally perfect but it’s less glitchy than before those updates were applied. Systems I’ve had before on Mercedes, for example, were rock solid and even my Ram just works so I never think about it. My confidence was shaken since the Wagoneer systems were so glitchy at first so I’m maybe hyper vigilant and don’t trust it like I did the others. That said it does work now mostly fine.
But has anyone else noticed the nav lady’s voice get garbled sometimes when she first reads out the ETA to destination? That hasn’t ever totally gone away even after the updates.

Not a Wagoneer owner, but stumbled upon this thread when searching for a fix on my 2023 Grand Cherokee 4xe. The dealer had my car for a few days with a case open…ultimately ending up with a new radio on order. I’ll update if that fixes things.

Just purchased a 2023 Wagoneer L and have the same problem. Reading thru this I see a few things that "might" work. 1. Take to the dealer for software update. 2. Download updated maps myself. Can anyone confirm that one or both of these actually fix the problem?

You need to do both steps, dealer first. If they are good they will do the map update for you, it’s one the many TSB on the vehicle. Welcome to the love hate relationship.

What he said. I had to do both to get it to be mostly glitch free. If you download the maps, make sure to scroll down and download all 5 files; I missed the 5th one at first which was my error but annoying nonetheless.

So took it to the dealer, they checked and said there is no update available for mine, it is at the latest. So guess I will try to update the maps now and see if that fixes it.
Where can I check the version to verify I have the latest (software not maps) to make sure they are telling me the truth?

Every time I try to install the map files downloaded from Stellantis I get a message that the files have been changed and I need to re download them. Nothing changed. I downloaded the 4 files and put them on a USB drive (I tried 3 different drives, because I wanted to make sure the error wasn't an issue with the drive).

My maps are showing a date from 2021 and I haven't received any OTA map updates. The dealer did update the software so I'm on 26.6.0 now. Still no OTA updates and I can't load the maps via USB.

I know the answer this one, I had the same problem, as have many others. THERE ARE 5 FILES. When you get to the North America pop up to download files, scroll down on the right, the 5th file is "hidden" from the pop up. Make sure you get Download Map -5 and try the process again. Good Luck!

Figures. I'll give it a try, but OTAs still aren't working. Dealer can't figure it out. Funny thing is the loaner I have has gotten updates while I've had it (another JGC).

There are 5 files you need to put on the flash drive (It's massive data make sure you have a 4GB flash drive).
*Agreed dealers are pretty useless, I had to lend them a flash drive .
In theory once the Informant os updated to newest version and maps are updated OTA will start to work for maps. (Basically the file is to massive tp work OTA)

Sure enough, who knew you needed all files for the update to work!🤣. The dealer did say they reached out to Stellantis engineering and that there is a hold on map updates due to a system wide issue, so even though I've updated now to the latest download I (or anyone else) probably won't see any updates for now. The loaners last update was 7/26/23.

Did the rebooting stop? Really criminal that this stuff is released without proper testing and that we have to figure out how to fix it ourselves.. screw the consumer one more time Stellantis
