So took it to the dealer, they checked and said there is no update available for mine, it is at the latest. So guess I will try to update the maps now and see if that fixes it.
Where can I check the version to verify I have the latest (software not maps) to make sure they are telling me the truth?
After installing the map updates (5 files), took a 7 hour trip and the navigation did NOT reboot a single time. So looks like the map update fixed it for me, thanks everyone for the help.

Wow! I'm just seeing this thread today. I had this issue also after an update popped up for me.
After a visit to the dealership for an oil change, I realized it couldn't be fixed. So, I canceled my Wagoneer Client Services Navigation subscription. The rebooting went away the same day.
I only use Apple CarPlay most of the time, anyway.

I'm glad you got it figured out.

All subscriptions did was give you real-time traffic and updates.

Suggest you go back to the dealership - have them update the informant, then download the new map version via USB stick.

Hi all! I have a 2023 Grand Wagoneer and the Navigation keeps restarting. Same issue as our 2021 Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve. What is causing this? Software version is FCA-MY23.T25.50-PROD.

It is getting really annoying on trips to say the least. It’s like no one knows exactly what is going on or has any remedy to fix these weird issues.

Have tried factory resetting and that didn’t help. Tried just using Bluetooth instead of CarPlay. Issue persists. I know many people are having the same issues. What gives? Doesn’t make sense. I also have a 2019 RAM Limited. Doesn’t have any issues like this.
Here's a good one. I have a 2023 Grand Wagoneer with the 6 minute reboot issue with the TomTom. I followed the link in this thread to download the maps by entering Jeep in the Make field, Grand Wagoneer in the Model field, but when I try to select Navi System, it gives me no options, therefore it won't activate the download. Anyone else experience this, and does anyone have a solution? I've been to my worthless dealer service department and of course they "couldn't duplicate problem". I'm about ready for legal action to make them buy the car back. I travel frequently and this is unacceptable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, my gosh! Go to the dealer, have them update the informant software, then load the five files. Search this forum there is so much on this bug.

I've been to the dealer once and they said they were unable to duplicate the problem, and claimed to have not heard about the problem, which I find impossible to believe. But I can't even download the 5 files from the Stellantis link posted in this thread. When Jeep Grand Wagoneer is selected the Navi system has no option. It is like that for all Jeep vehicles.

Is there a different dealer? Your sounds like they are not any good. Call Jeep Customer Service
Make a video of the car doing it as your sample.

Fix is two steps but you may have other recalls or need a new battery for updates to run properly.

I had the same problem with the dealer and had to call Wagoneer Client Services. They had me go to Settings, go to reset, and click on Clear Personal Data. Haven't had the problem in a week now, keeping my fingers crossed. I also discussed getting another vehicle if I continued to have a problem. They gave me 2 options either the Buy Back option or they can issue me a CDI number to trade the vehicle in and get a new vehicle at employee price.

Thanks for that info. I'll definitely try it this evening and see if that works.

So you’re about to get hosed, if u trade yours in. If your circumstances comply with the lemon law requirements of your state - do the buy back and be prepared to fight. Stellantis will not just buy it back, they will deny it and you may need to lawyer up, at least a 4 month process.

if your not at the lemon law requirements of your state, suffer through till you achieve them. Taking a giant loss ($20-40k) on a new truck isn’t fair.

Well, wonders never cease. I’m knocking on wood as I post this, but yesterday I drove my Grand Wagoneer for more than two hours and NO REBOOTS occurred with the Tom Tom. I was also having trouble with the hands free lift gate not working. That is also working every time. Is anyone aware of an update? I looked at the map version in the settings and it is still the March 2022 version. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi everyone, I just brought home a 2023 Series II and in the first couple trips this issue is the one thing that is already driving me crazy. Lots of comments here to comb thru so hard to see if there is an actual fix? I know I got a software update at the dealership, I had to wait a day to pick up because of it.

In my last post above, replying to LegalBrief, my 2023 Grand Wagoneer GPS had suddenly stopped resetting. This lasted about 2 weeks, then it started again. I tried doing what rgaines said to do (in a post above) last night - "I had the same problem with the dealer and had to call Wagoneer Client Services. They had me go to Settings, go to reset, and click on Clear Personal Data. Haven't had the problem in a week now, keeping my fingers crossed." So far today no resets, so I am also keeping my fingers crossed (again!).

Welcome to a love-hate relationship! Tom Tom Rebotting is three components.. Software Update from Dealer, Current maps (via flash drive due to size), clearing data if it gets corrupted .

Jeep changed the data transmitted, the vehicle can't interpret without the most recent software and maps. (Typical failure to beta test before releasing an update). OTA updates don't work because the files a giant. OTA may restart once everything is updated as in theory the updates maybe smaller.
