Hi all! I have a 2023 Grand Wagoneer and the Navigation keeps restarting. Same issue as our 2021 Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve. What is causing this? Software version is FCA-MY23.T25.50-PROD.

It is getting really annoying on trips to say the least. It’s like no one knows exactly what is going on or has any remedy to fix these weird issues.

Have tried factory resetting and that didn’t help. Tried just using Bluetooth instead of CarPlay. Issue persists. I know many people are having the same issues. What gives? Doesn’t make sense. I also have a 2019 RAM Limited. Doesn’t have any issues like this.

I have the same issue with my 2022 Series III 4X4—the same software version, FCA-MY23.T25.50-PROD. I tried a soft reboot and factory reset. Also tried adding a new profile. I think the TomTom software is abending, causing the reset. What gets me is that the reset occurs almost 15 to 20 minutes on the dot. That leads me to believe a timed refresh. This pisses me off. Before the update about a month ago, I had zero issues.

My NAV Application Version is - TTNAV.T26.6.0. Latest Map Release Date - 05/07/2021.

I think this issue is across the board for all 21+ Stellantis vehicles. My wife talked to another Wagoneer owner and they said theirs does the same thing. So frustrating and dumb. At this point it doesn’t matter to take it to the dealership. It won’t change a thing.

TTNAV.T26.6.0
North America 2022.03.000.28/21995/13182747/43481
Release Date 03/21/2022

I’ve had this issue many times a day on my
2022 Wagoneer Series III. It’s at the dealership right now for a software update. Hoping that solves the issue. Wagoneer Connect finally let me know about two technical service bulletins that seem to list these types of issues. Will try to report back.

I get That exactly every 5 minutes on my 2022 Grand Cherokee Summit, the TomTom Navigation keeps restarting the display and the cluster, and if I have a different app open it jumps from the app to the navigation, sometimes it loses the route if you are using the Nav sometimes it brings it back, either way, is very annoying. The dealership change my 2 batteries under warranty, also they changed the ground for the display it still didn't help. I assume it is from TomTom server that causes the glitch. Please update us once you've found a solution, I'll keep researching.

If connected services didn’t provide the TSBs (they didn’t even mention them, made me feel more like I was being fussy), I recommend tagging Wagoneer customer service on here. They’re the only ones who ever mentioned the TSBs to me. Those bulletins have been out for more than a year, at least one of them has. They lost all the issues I’ve been experiencing. I gave them to my service tech and hope it’s going to fix - at least they also validated that there’s awareness of these very real issue - cold comfort but some acknowledgment that I’m not just a needy customer.

What are the TSBs? I’m not seeing anything.

What is nuts is that our 21’ Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve also did this. From researching on the interwebs, seems like the RAMs are having these same issues.

If anyone has links to any TSBs, that’d be great. I’m not seeing anything addressing any 21+ Uconnect 5 issues. Just people posting their issues.

I started having the same issue with my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit, the display jumps from other apps (Music or home page) to the navigation and the TomTom map keeps resetting, it also does it when I use the navigation and most of the time I lose the route and I have to put the destination again.
This is very annoying, I tried a factory reset a few times and it didn't work, I took it to the dealership and they replaced the ground but still didn't fix it, they told me that I need a new whole set of the Radio device, They are ordering one for me but now I'm reading all the comments and common problems I'm not sure even the Radio replacement would fix the problem.

It seems there is an issue with the navigation server that causes this glitch, I hope they fix it soon.

It’s something with GusrdisnXM. It’s sending something to the map causing it to reboot.

it’s in RAM, Jeep and other products - totally sucks because we don’t have updates to blame and it’s affecting all vehicles. (Maybe they were hacked, but regardless it’s super annoying)

I have a 2022 Grand Cherokee Summit and this just started happening. Map reboots about every 8 minutes.

We had a 21’ Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve that was purchased brand new that was weird from the beginning with the Uconnect. It did get better over time. Then one day the TomTom was just stuck always loading. Then sometimes it would work. But then it just started doing the whole reboot thing. We traded it in like that. Couldn’t believe the 23’ Grand Wagoneer was doing the same exact thing! It’s connected to WiFi in our garage as well. I did yesterday however start the trial on the hotspot. Today I also transferred our connected services subscription from the Cherokee to the Wagoneer since it just renewed a few months ago. Client services started a case where I can upload a video of the rebooting issue. Now if I could just pry the GW from my wife’s hands for a bit to get that vid. LOL 😂
