Thats odd. Everything I have seen says they stopped building 22MY in July and switched over to 23MY. Regardless that was what caused the delay. They tied the new engine to the new MY as they are axing the 5.7 Hemi in the regular Waggys in favor of the hurricanes. GWs I'm not sure if they are still going to offer the 6.4 or just the Hurricane.

Where have seen that they switched over to 2023 in July? I haven't seen a single 2023 anywhere. Anyways you can build 2023 on the website now, Wagoneers are Hurricane only , grand Wagoneers are Hurricane or 6.4L V8.

Neighbor is one of the plant quality engineers. Said they started switching over to 23My in July, meaning they probably started building in August. Usually if you factor in logistics and yard holds(quality reviews) you're looking at 45-60 days from vin assign to rolling off the truck in a perfect world. Nowadays it could be closer to 75 days. I'd bet they start showing up in mid to late October. To Jester's point, neighbor clarified that the hurricane was intended to be a low take rate option in 22 as they ramped up for 23MY std equip(on certain trims), but they had a ton of supply issues that delayed the majority of orders.

The Waggy gets the standard output 420hp Hurricane, the GW will get the HO 510hp version.

Just got an update from my neighbor, specifically about your vin. They had such a backlog they kept running 22MY through 10/12. Yours is currently on the line being assembled. Not saying that eta is accurate, but it’s on its way for real this time.

my bad earlier I was operating off old information from him.

What do you mean 10/12? Do you know when they will start 23's?

The number one quote from a not so famous man but as true as anything I’ve ever been told, “who you are don’t mean spit, who you know is much more important!”

New to this forum but I’ve had a 22 GW with the hurricane on on order since the end of June. And the order is constantly getting pushed back and has been scheduled for 3 months. Anyone know what’s going on with this ?
