I will start with problems since the vehicle was new but may have been corrected.
1) Static/lines in the main video- Replaced the radio in the first 2 weeks
2) Overhead console falling- Dealer corrected after two tries
3) Front seat heat is virtually useless, it acts like it is trying to limit the seat temperature. it comes on but turns off within 90 seconds both front seats. After that it will not re-activate for 5 to 7 minutes. Dealer says the fix is two months out.
4) The seat heat touch control located on the radio bezel is temperamental. Have to go to the climate screen to activate/deactivate the seat heat.
5) Forward facing object collision sensor system goes into warning upon approach to the wall in my garage which helps me avoid closing the garage door onto the back of the vehicle. Every so often when the system warns of the proximity of the wall the warning tone begins and will not stop. Turning off the engine will not silence it when this occcurs. Opening the drivers side door and closing it has no effect. Start the engine back out of the garage start down the road doesn't silence it. it just stops warning in a random manner.
6) The 4wd low lock control on the horizontal console it severely sensitive. If you accidentally touch it the machine goes into a funk. Shows disable of anti slip features and flashes red. If you are underway this is disconcerting. if you touch the control there is no change. I don't rightly know what one has to do to overcome this. I usually stop and turn off the engine and open the drivers door. This is not the remedy I don't believe but it eventually corrects itself if you screw with the control enough.
7) The first time I encountered snow I selected the snow option on the controls. I guess I thought the system would behave differently at road speed. it immediately went to select the low lock which of course would not work since I was going at road speed. So I wonder if the condition selector has any value unless you are in off-road conditions.
8) I want the rear front seat mounted entertainment screens to be off. I wonder if there is a way to turn them off. I can't seem to figure that out.
9) The electronic parking brake comes on sometimes and will not disengage. The resolution to this seems to be random. I fumble with. the control, turn off the engine open the drivers door it eventually resolves.
10) Auto park happens if you shut off the engine without turning the rotary knob to park. I restart the engine I sometimes find myself stuck when the machine will not shift into gear even though I have rotated the shifter knob. I do more of the same turn off the engine, open the drivers side door and fumble with the shifter and eventually it will allow me to select a gear.
11) The head up display will not show the speed limit. it is shown it the setup so I wonder if there is a way to get it to show the speed limit in the head up display. it seems like the setup that is shown on the radio doesn't work unless you select one of the four canned setups. the drag and drop function does not seem to work.

Hi there. I have had same issues as 3, 4, 8 (YES PLEASE), and 11. The whole system seems a but buggy. Hope they are hearing some of the issue and can correct them with an over-the-air update soon.

Many of the same complaints as you. Regarding #8 from the UConnect Theater screen you can turn the power off on the rear screens (mine doesn’t allow me to see the screens even at park or play music over vehicle speakers but it does allow this.). Unfortunately every time you start the vehicle they come back on - no memory of this action. I’d like to be able to have the screens stay off until they are purposely turned on.

Welcome to my world! Received my boat anchor 2022 GW series III dec. 30, since then the batt. has died 6 times, once at a funeral for a loved one! Not only did it die but the only keyed lock on the POS did not work with the key provided so i couldnt even get in to get to my jump start box that i carry every where! The dealer sent a tow truck the next day and they had to drag the GW onto the roll back while it was in park then take to dealer and drag it off while in park and the dealer had to lift it up to attach jumper cables to the starter motor so the could unlock doors to change bad lock! They have had to tow it in 4 times now and pretty much told me there is nothing they can do that there would be a programming update sometime between April and Sept!!!!!!!! I wish i didnt pay cash for this piece of junk, if i would have had a loan on it i would have had the loan co. handle all this! The truck now has been in my hands no more than a 5 day span after owning it for over two months and the problem still is not fixed! FYI my dealer told me i had to call the factory and deal with it! I called the GW "specialist" and they opened a "star" case on it which means absolutely nothing as they dont have any answers either! I am at my whits end on this 115K boat anchor! I spent 7k on a full body mask and exoshield windshield protection on the GW as the dealer said the last time it was in that the midwest factory rep. did a complete pc flash reload on it and all is good! 3 days later dead batt. I guess an attorney is my next option.

I have had nothing but issues with my WIII, its been in the shop twice and its done ~2k miles. Wagoneer “client” services are more than useless and they cannot keep their 10 point brand promise. I severely regret trusting Jeep on this purchase … should have stuck with the brands that know how to treat luxury car buyers.

Does anyone have any contacts to someone senior in client services or Jeep in general, i see so many issues here with this truck and they just don’t seem to care, maybe they will if we all bound together.

When I read things like this I am glad I returned my WIII after 3 days. I did take a hit.
Curious as to how big of a hit you took… we’ve had our Wagoneer III for 3 days and we’re encountering many of the problems we’ve been reading about on this forum. We’ve been loyal Yukon Denali owners for years and decided on a Wagoneer due to the delays with GM vehicles. I SO regret that decision and I want my Yukon back.

My W III was 96,500 out the door. The hit was 3K. The sales guy said he would reduce his commission for it would be less than the 3K I said no. He should get his commission.
I order my wife a Rubicon 392 and they gave me the 3K back. My wife loves her Rubicon and is very happy.
We are relieved that we gave back the WIII. We have a Tahoe Premier that we enjoy and the side mirrors are power and the rear window opens and it is a little smaller that the Wagoneer.
Good luck working with your dealer. Our dealer sold our Wagoneer for more than we paid.

Thanks so much for the information, this is extremely helpful. We experienced additional problems with the rear seat entertainment and main display today, and definitely want out of our WII immediately. The dealership is well aware of the issues we’re encountering and want us to call on Monday to schedule a service appointment. I just feel that this entire situation is completely unacceptable, so I’m hoping we can come to an agreement with our dealer. As much as I hate the idea of a loss, I truly believe it will be worth the peace of mind.
Thanks also for the additional info on your Tahoe… we were initially considering that as well, and now it’s moving to the top of our list of vehicle options. Thanks again!

On #8 if your UCONNECT shows left screen/right screen you can turn them off from the front panel. If it shows Screen 1/Screen 2 and update is needed at the dealer. Mine were working then stopped based on this scenario.

#9 and #10 are tied the the seat belt or timing for the Brake to disengage. I always use my park brake so I don't mind this. You can turn the auto park break off in the control panel under safety feature.

@pmroberts I am encountering issue #2 after just 2 weeks of ownership of our WII. Did the dealer ever tell you what was causing the falling overhead console? Did they have to order any parts to rectify the issue? Our dealer said it would be about 2 weeks so have their senior technician look at is as he's the only one that can handle those issues on the Wagoneer models. I would hate to get it back in 2 weeks and then it's not fixed and I have to leave it again for a longer period of time. Thanks!

I am also having a problem with the overhead console loose on the front side causing it to sag, like it is missing a clip or maybe a broken clip. Anyone have the issue fixed and if so, what was the fix action?

Is anyone having issues with the SOS screen popping up, and the road sign error also keeps popping up as well! I’ve had it in three times and still no luck with the fix!
