Any thoughts or rumors on if Jeep might come out with a hybrid version of Wagoneer or Grand Wagoneer?

If it's based on the Ram 1500 platform, then I feel like they could adapt that truck's mild hybrid system. Fuel economy is 17/23 mpg (city/hwy) when paired with the V8. What about the V6 though? I can't find that data.

A Hybrid V6 might be the best option actually...

Has anyone driven the eTorque Ram 1500?

I think it needs to be standard equipment whatever engine options we're getting. And believe that Jeep will make it available at launch to improve fuel efficiency and the smoothness of the engine stop-start system, so at least it has an edge on that end.

It's inevitable that a hybrid version is coming at some point. I don't know if I'd get the hybrid regardless if it's a V6 or V8 but I think it will make it more appealing for some people.
It should model the direction taken with the Wrangler 4xe hybrid:
