Well that's a relief for me. My number one concern was going from my 6.4 to the Hurricane. Now if i could only get my truck! ordered 7-26-23 GWL series iii , dealer said they are ironing out issues he was told. Well if that is true i understand but holy smoke, it's been 8 months! Wonder if they will label it a 2024?

Update on hurricane versus 6.4 hemi.
On my trip that I reported the comparison of my 6.4 versus my hurricane I drove as I normally do on a trip. I ran with the flow of the faster moving vehicles just as I did in my 6.4 GW.
So on the trip back I babied the hurricane to see what I could squeeze out of it. I ran the speed limit everywhere I was which ranged from 55-75. Well gang, I never even got close to 20mpg. I did make the dash lie to me a few times showing 18 but in reality it never happened. The calculator only came up with 16.2 but other than lower fuel mileage the little motor I was certain I was gonna hate has been an overachiever. I’m telling you folks, I was a naysayer that scoffed at the idea of 3.0 taking the place of 6.4 it just didn’t seem possible. But other than fuel mileage I can’t knock a single thing about it, really absolutely nothing.

Are you saying the dash said 18 but when you filled up you calculated 16.2?
I'm having the opposite issue on mine. Last tank dash said 11.4 and I calculated 14. This time around it said 13.2 and I calculated close to 16.
Either way yeah nothing close to the 22mpg they advertised for the SO Hurricane.

That is correct. In my 6.4 I tried all fuel grades and to my surprise the lowest octane produced the best mpg. I’ve used premium on every tank but one on my trip where that’s all they had but it didn’t do any better or worse on that tank.Are you saying the dash said 18 but when you filled up you calculated 16.2?

Biggest disappointment in the 3.0 is the exhaust note, or the lack thereof. Hoping Corsa or someone comes out with a system for the GWLs
Anyone have comparison numbers when towing, say 6k to 7k trailer? I'm curious if the 6 dumps down to the single digits towing as the V8's do. I mostly pull my camper in Montana so no flat land here, but any comparison info would be appreciated.
