Hi folks, my 23 WSII L is "allegedly" in the paint cycle. It has the all-terrain package with 18" wheels and tires (OEM = 265/65/18). I've heard mixed reports about the tire sizes that will fit without any rubbing/modifications, and the service department at my dealership claims they won't know what tires will fit until the vehicle is finalized (seems hard to believe).

I've seen some posts on other sites that any tire that fits the Ram 1500 DT will fit the W/GW but haven't been able to confirm that. OEM on the Ram Rebel is a 275/70/18, FWIW, but I've seen plenty of 1500's with 295/70/18's with no mods.

Summary - I'd like to swap the tires before driving it away and want to pre-order tires but can't seem to get a straight answer on what will/won't fit. I don't imagine they changed the fitments, etc. between 2022 and 2023 model years, so any personal experience/knowledge regardless of model year would be greatly appreciated!

Hey IdahoKid, I am running 285/50/22 Yokohama ATs on my GWIII, diameter is 33.7" with a some play all around, so the 285/70/18 with a 34.1" diameter should be fine. The 295s have 34.3" diameter and my guess would be the quarter inch plus is still not a problem in the cutout but turning could be restricted. If you check the lift kit postings, the 35" diameter tires require some work on the fenders. The Yoko G015 is an excellent tire, very quiet and we'll behaved on the road, extremely puncture resistent (important with the 22" wheels) with a good grip (minus mud) off- road..
If your all-terrain package comes with the skidplates, I would very much appreciate if you could send me a picture of the attachment of the front plate, I could not figure it out and Jeep has been of no help either.
Put the all-terrain package to use, the new Wagoneer is an excellent vehicle on and off-road. I covered over 2000 miles off the road in thr Red Rock Country last year and it performed extremely well. The air suspension system however adds to it because the max. ground clearance in the highest position with the large tires is app 12".

Pio52 - thanks so much. Love the old-school/new-school look on your rig. I'm running Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires on my Ford Expedition now and like them so much I put them on my wife's 2019 Trailhawk, they are bad-ass. Heard great things about the Yoko's as well. Really appreciate your insights, sounds like the diameter is the key metric. And yes, once I get the Wag I will post photos - Lord knows when the vehicle is actually going to be ready.

Glad I'm not the only one. I'm swapping out the 22" Pirelli's for my trusty Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S that go on all my vehicles now. I have the same setup on my '21 Ram and they do rub at the lowest air suspension setting at full steering lock in reverse, but that's it and pretty easy to avoid. I asked the dealer to order them and put them on before we picked up our WS3 this week as well, but they plain forgot so I'm off to Discount Tire today. I think they are only about 33", but will measure and report back after I get them on.

We're in Colorado so we get a lot of snow and lots of unpaved county roads where I am, but honestly I just think these rigs look better with all terrains.

Thanks - how did the setup work out? What tire size did you decide on?

I went with the 285/44-22 Cooper's. I measured an they're actually only 32" so probably doesn't help you in terms of figuring out if the 34's will fit. Very happy with how it turned out though.

for questions like this, I go to discount tire site and check the available options for your vehicle. you can use 2022 to make sure they got things populated for it. You can select OEM tire size or plus 1 and plus 2, etc. And see what comes up. You can also go talk to them (or any similar tire change like firestone) and see what they say. I've seen some people put as much as 305 tires on it but claimed it hit and they had to raise the air suspension. Driving with the air suspension near the full height is not very comfortable and if you don't have it then you have to be really careful.
