Hello all. I just experienced a similar issue yesterday. It was almost 90° where I am at in Florida and the rear was blowing out HEAT as if the heater was on. Moved the front to “lo” and the rear manually to “lo” as well (from the front) and it didn’t help. Then I synced the back with the front and although the fan speeds synced and the temp showed “lo” on rear (again from the front) it was still blowing HEAT (not warm air but hot air as from the heater). I tried shutting it off at a traffic light and restarting but that didn’t fix it. Today it seems to be back to normal after a quick trip to the store. Maybe shutting it down last night AND getting the fob far enough away rebooted it somehow. I’m hoping.
I’m noticing that the AC isn’t cooling as it used to. I’m in Florida so I understand and it can get in 90s even in the shade. I have tints all along the car including the windshield. Starting the car mid day are a drag and a bit annoying since it will blow hot air between 3-5 mins. Tried taking to the dealership and this second time was just chalked up “no problem found”. They told me that since it’s a black car it draws more heat. Granted I checked the interior temp and it reached +110 degrees plus. And took close to 5 mins to cool at full blast. My wife’s 2022 Durango had interior temp at 100 degrees. It took under 3 mins to close at a mid level fan. Going to try a different dealership and see what they say.
Has anyone been successful in doing a lemon on this issue?
It's not a lemon.. GW is 3x of the interior of Durango .. it makes som sense that it would take 2 minutes longer.

You dont share your settings, your 2nd row settings and third row seat position?

All the rows were up in both vehicles. But I noticed my wife’s car blows colder than my Wagoneer. For the most part we travel in my car and just never really gets cold in the car. And they have replaced the condenser once when the rear AC only wasn’t blowing cold air.
You can check the temp coming out of the vents and compare. Use any bbq or kitchen meat probe thermometer. I do agree that 5 mins for the size of the interior to cool seems well within acceptable measures. Mine takes longer than that and is black as well. Middle seats up, third row down. Florida also.

Went to HD and got a temp gauge from Klein and showed my sales guy how it took some time to start cooling. The thing that kills me is that the S2 is over 75k and doesn’t get cold. Gets cool but not cold. Even on long road trips. I get it shorts trips not enough time or if I forget to close the sunroof blind.

I have a GWIII so its different, I never put the third row up, unless I have over 4 people. Mine is black as well, I set the front to AC and 68, I set the rear to 60 via the front display. I get in the hot car and press AC Max. Then as it cools I play with the Fan!

If it's really warm I use the app to remote start to pre-cool (and pre-heat).

* I had a 2021 RAM Laramie, and no matter what I did it would only get coolish, never cold, one day I found a piece of foam in the duct under the rear seat while cleaning. You may want to check your ducts are unobstructed

We have a RAM as well, on the RAM side there is known issue with the heater box not closing all the way allowing hot coolant into the AC Box in cabin. There is also a easy hack to use in the summer.

At the water pump there is a clearly marked outlet line to the heater core. Apply fluid line clamp to the line and tighten. You remove the clamp in the fall/ replace in late spring. Takes less than 4 minutes.

The clamp is cheap $10 and does not hurt anything (there are 100’s of posts on this RAM site some suggest closing the clamp 95% to allow some water flow others say 100%.
