Has anyone else had their phone overheat while being charged on the charging pad? Ours have overheated a couple of times.

It happened to me also. The charging light on the pad switched to red and the phone was very hot.

Yes my phone gets very warm, and doesn’t really charge, just barely maintains the level. My wife’s iPhone seems to work slightly better, but frustrating.

This is common with wireless charging pads across all platforms. I dont recommend using wireless charging pads. Thats my 2 cents.

Mine rarely even works, I find it rather pointless unfortunately

The location makes it easy to forget your phone there. I usually drop the lower screen down and forget about the phone only to realize it's about to melt when I do grab for it.

I can never find one that will work with my case and pop socket attached…not worth pulling the case off. I just plug it in. Not like I’m going anywhere while I’m driving…

Same issue. Barley charges and is extremely hot.

I have had much better experience with thin cases - thick cases either won't work, or seem to cause the pad and phone to over-heat.
