Hi all. Long time lurker, first time poster. Close to pulling the trigger on a GW S1, and visited a car show again to feel and compare again. Sitting in the front passenger seat I noticed that the foot well area has a bit of a bump out due to the transmission tunnel. It seems assymetrical with the driver side foot well. I'm average height with an above-average shoe size, but it seemed the bump-out was enough for my left foot to not be completely comfortable when my legs were stretched out. To put it another way, I'd have to slightly retract my left leg to avoid my foot pressing into the sloped carpeting there (meanwhile my right foot was comfortably in open space). Besides my foot noticing it, you can also see the transmission tunnel rounded bump-out on the passenger side.
The seat was not positioned close to the dash either. I did not feel this bump out in the driver's side foot well.

Can any owners of a Wagoneer or Grand Wagoneer comment on this? Was my left foot imagining things? Thanks in advance for your thoughts/experiences.

not sure if the GW has a different transmission tunnel (I doubt it since they both have the same ZF-8 speed). I have the wagoneer and sitting in the passenger side I didn't feel any discomfort or noticed anything strange about it. I'm average height.

Hi Knight, thanks for the response. I'm certain the flesh and bones (body and frame) are almost the same between the W and GW, aside from the mounting points for the different engines perhaps (5.7, 6.4 and 3.0 TT), and the external appearance tweaks.
Its good to know that your experience is positive on this.
