According to a post by Stellantis on Linkedin "Product development engineers, supporting the launch at the Detroit Assembly Complex - Mack plant, have been hard at work putting the all-new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L to the test around the city of Detroit. Weekly ride-and-drives are being conducted to mimic real-world customer usage, which help the team evaluate inner city and highway driving conditions, stop-and-go traffic, comfort and more, so that any potential issues can be resolved prior to vehicles arriving in dealerships later this year. These drives complement testing conducted by the Grand Cherokee L engineering team"
