TSB is normal, and so is updates, don't freak out. Just go to a different dealer.
It's a great vehicle, once updated, super reliable.

Other dealers will not accept my vehicle because "it is a problem vehicle." It has less than 700 miles on it. I have never taken it to the shop (partly because the other dealers near me won't accept it).TSB is normal, and so is updates, don't freak out. Just go to a different dealer.

I wish it was me that was making zero sense. This is the reality I am living. The wagoneer client services rep read the email to me from the service advisor.Honestly - you’re making zero sense. Dealers live for warranty work. TSB are nothing special.
Dealer doesn’t care if car is, 1 day old or 35 months.
Jeep has a direct line to customer service! I’m sure they would like to hear of your experiences!I bought a GW SII last week after being very impressed by the reviews, drive and comfort. However, after taking delivery I noticed the "active lane management" would stop working almost immediately after being engaged while driving. The active driving assist would quit too. I test drove another GW before I decided to pull the trigger on this one and only took this one on a relatively short test drive before purchasing. I did not test each and every feature on the vehicle I ultimately purchased, but all seemed well.
I have now learned that this vehicle has had 11 instance in service. I purchased the vehicle at a dealership a decent way from my house. I drove the vehicle to a service appointment at the same dealership to get it checked out. I received a rental car (an older Ford Fusion with 60k miles) and went on my way. The service department had not reached out to me all day, so I called them as the day was ending. They said they weren't going to be able to even look at my vehicle for a few days. After spending $100k+ on a new vehicle, I did not feel like driving a Ford Fusion, nor did I have my kid's car seats. Who knows how long the truck would be sitting there. I drove back and got the vehicle that evening. About 3+ hours of my day wasted.
Wagoneer Services has been helpful, and acted appalled at the service I received. They have been trying to get me an appointment at the Jeep dealer right down the street from my house. BUT...and here is the kicker, that dealership refuses to service my truck. Yes, they refuse to look at it.
Why? Because this truck has apparently been in service 13 times. 250 miles and 13 trips to the service department. They don't want to incur the liability. The service manager refuses to take it (the Wagoneer Services agent read me the email from the service manager).
So, I now have a week-old $100k vehicle and am struggling to have anyone fix safety/convenience features. The dealer that sold the vehicle clearly knew about the vehicle's history--it was serviced at that dealership. I'm currently at a loss.
I love the truck, but hate the customer service. Starting to regret the purchase.
There are a lot of updates, and technical service bulletins due your vehicle. Most issues will vanish when they finish.Just purchased a GW that was certified. I guess I expected no issues with safety equipment, but I was wrong. Neither lane keeping assist or Ada working. This was a corporate vehicle so no updates performed. I have a GW 6/21 build. I will show bulletin to dealer.. maybe that will me get it fixed.
wont this do any damage to computer? The recent Electric Power Steering Rapid Service Update has caused fits to the Active Lane Management System. It was likely installed before you bought it along with other updates. My tech and I struggled with this update yesterday. Finally, we disconnected the battery (both terminals), waited a minute, touched both cables together (off the battery) for a capacitive discharge, and then reconnected the battery terminal, and got the Active lane Management system working again. The Facebook Wagoneer groups has a bunch of people posting the same issue. This is something you can do yourself with just a wrench.
Just got back from shop after updating.. still not fixed.. the service dept has another one with same issue. I think the are trying to get the issue fixed. There are a lot of updates, and technical service bulletins due your vehicle. Most issues will vanish when they finish.

This is not going to harm the vehicle. I've done it a few times with my Range Rover that is about to be replaced by my Wagoneer in 2 weeks. The Range Rover electronics are voodoo and as crazy as anything I've ever encountered in my life.wont this do any damage to computer?
TI bet they just aren't following the bulletin instructions properly when doing the electric power steering update. When not done correctly, the Active Lane management is affected.
To be fair, some of these bulletin instructions are a PITA.I bet they just aren't following the bulletin instructions properly when doing the electric power steering update. When not done correctly, the Active Lane management is affected.
Get the Wagoneer up on the left two wheels while doing 75 on a non-crowded interstate, have assistant two crawl out of the passenger side window, open the hood (while maintaining 75 and on 2 wheels) connect the flashing tool with the 10mm socket to the bolt that is located 2.4 inches north from the water pump behind the serpentine belt (be sure to not connect to the bolt that is 1.2 inches north of the water pump), hold that connection for 2-7 minutes, disconnect the tool (don't forget to take your 10mm socket), close the hood, crawl back into the car and then set the car gently down on all four wheels, reduce speed gently and return to the shop.
I like the dealership.. I hope they will get it figured out.I bet they just aren't following the bulletin instructions properly when doing the electric power steering update. When not done correctly, the Active Lane management is affected.
Range Rovers software is oh so much worse then GW…This is not going to harm the vehicle. I've done it a few times with my Range Rover that is about to be replaced by my Wagoneer in 2 weeks. The Range Rover electronics are voodoo and as crazy as anything I've ever encountered in my life.
Johntpr is exactly correct. When they do the power steering control update it can knock out the software from talking to the system. The fix for this is to update the module, reset the power steering and electronically realign it. Good techs work issues all the way through, with the service writer, and add to the repair order (RO) a poor tech just does the first step and does not follow through. See TSB# 08-200-22I bet they just aren't following the bulletin instructions properly when doing the electric power steering update. When not done correctly, the Active Lane management is affected.
Totally frustrating - I completely agree, mine came back missing a piece of the chrome window trim. My view, in the big picture, is it's safer to have the updates done.Ironically I took my GW in for an oil change and whatever other items needed addressed, and the car was returned without the ADA working. To say I'm annoyed is an understatement, I almost changed the oil myself so I didn't have to deal with the dealer, I should have done that.
I love the car, the dealer network is just terrible and not equipped to handle 100k plus customers who are used to actually being taken care of when something goes wrong. That's my biggest gripe. Now because the dealer is inept I have to spend another day dealing with them to fix it. Terrible!Totally frustrating - I completely agree, mine came back missing a piece of the chrome window trim. I still really enjoy GW3, I love that it's such a beast in the snow/dirt, and my family is happy on the road. My next move would be a RR LWB or G550 neither one I could get fixed in 150 miles.
