Ok gang even though I don’t want to I might be a little too judgmental of the active driving assist on my new grand BUT it’s entirely possible that it’s the driver(me) not fully understanding how to operate it. The back info is that I traded my Alpina XB7 for this rig so it might be a unfair comparison. My complaint is in active driving my GW rides too close to the center line. I want to be centered in the lane and it gets noticeably closer to the center stripe! Only thing worse than that is that it don’t always keep you in your lane, and there is no way to have any idea when it’s gonna decide when to let you ease right out of your lane. I really like my GW but the active driving assist in my Alpina you could actually depend on. Any input on the matter would certainly be appreciated.

I am experiencing the same thing on being too close to the center line, mostly on left-hand curves. It is unsettling when another car is passing you on the left. I have not had the experience of it not keeping me in my lane. Has anyone found any evidence of the drowsy driver alert? I don't see any camera or monitor, and I have taken my eyes off the road or lowered my head for extended periods and I receive no alert.
