Hi:
I took ownership of my Grand Wagoneer III last week after waiting for the original windshield to be replaced. 2nd windshield still has a distortion and waiting for dealership to let me know what Stellantis is going to do. Is anyone else having windshield issue's?

Welcome to the forum @suzrogers61! Sorry to hear about the windshield issue with your Grand Wagoneer. When you say the windshield has distortion, is it not fitting properly? Or is there something wrong with the surface of the glass?

Something is wrong with the surface of the glass. It came with a windshield that had this distortion and the dealer replaced it with a windshield from the assembly line. Which has a distortion as well. Not sure if I am really unlucky or there is a batch of windshields that are bad.

I have kind of noticed things look warped through the windshield. I thought it must just be me. Unattributed it to the angle of the windshield reflecting light because I do not notice it at night.

Noticed some distortion in one part of my windshield as well, center area, maybe 6-8 inches off the dash vertically. Not sure if it’s worth the hassle of replacing, especially if the replacements may have the same issue.

I too have distortion in the center area 6-8in off the dash vertically. It occurs in two places - rough approximation above the two lines stitched into the leather. Assuming it’s going to be awhile before the factory comes out with replacement glass that
will correct the distortion. Hard to capture using video. I have to move my head sideways at a standstill to notice it. When making turns, it’s a little more noticeable.

My wife and I test drove a GW series 3 and she immediately noticed a spot in the center windshield that had distortion. Almost like it hurts your head staring at this area because it throws your vision off. Hopefully it isn’t common on many vehicles.

Here is a good picture showing how the windshield is distorting the view by pulling what you are seeing to the right. This is a perfectly straight piece of metal on my garage door but looks warped in the photo on the right that was taken from inside the vehicle, vs the one on the left which was outside.

Gentlemen and ladies, I as well have had my windshield problems, I am no waiting on my second windsheild. My dealer got the second one delivered and it to was wavy.

Received my Grand Wagoneer III on Saturday and when my wife drove it (after I got home with it) she immediately got car sick, same when she rides in it and looks out the window. The new windshield won't arrive until Dec. 29th. Hopefully Jeep can get decent glass and the new one won't be the same. Sucks to have a brand new vehicle that your wife can't ride/drive. So far Wagoneer has been responsive, so it will be interesting to see how it all turns out. Concerning to see so many people with the same issues, there can't be that many on the road yet. Has anyone gotten theirs replaced and the issue went away?

My replacement windshield should arrive today. Wagoneer CS has been calling me daily with updates on ETA. Thank you @WagoneerCxSvc ! Will most likely have to wait on install regardless because of all the other service item that also need to be addressed and I don’t feel like making multiple visits to the dealer. I will of course ask the dealer to verify that it’s fixed first (they described the original windshield to me as if they were wearing police drunk goggles that they put on folks at the local fair).

Are you guys experiencing any other issues or is this just it? Hopefully it's just this!

A couple of small issues that I haven't reported to the dealer yet like a strap to pull the middle seat forward from the back seat wasn't actually attached. There is also some HVAC quirky ness like randomly going to full blast and not letting me turn it down. The QA is a little disappointing for a vehicle in this price range.
I'm optimistic they will everything worked out eventually.............

Unfortunately we are having the SAME issue with the windshield and side glass being wavy/blurry and it causing headaches and blurry vision while driving. Our dealer has told us it’s the polarization of the windows and windshield but that can’t be normal. We have a Grand Wagoneer lll. We are waiting to hear if the dealer will replace with a clear glass but it’s so difficult to buy a brand new top of the line vehicle that you can’t see clearly out of the windshield and windows.

It’s disheartening for sure. They are telling us January for the glass. Wagoneer client services has also stated to me that most wagoneers are having this issue, so I wouldn’t accept that it is the polarization.
