Has anyone else found this loose paper Addendum enclosed with your owners manual? If not, please check for it.
Just purchased a 2022 Wagoneer 2 days ago expecting to tow 7660 lbs. Wagoneer has no explanation for this, in fact, it was the first one the dealership and Wagoneer support saw. The dealership found at least 2 more Addendums on different Wagoneers on their lot. It's been 1 1/2 days and still no answers.

Here's what the Addendum says:


Model: 2022 Wagoneer (EXCLUDES GRAND WAGONEER)
Subject: Trailer Towing
Overview: Towing is not allowed on Wagoneer vehicles equipped with Trailer Tow Delete, or not equipped with the Heavy Duty Tow option.

Did you try reaching out to your dealer and even Jeep corporate for clarity?

So i checked my owners manual and the only Addendum i had was for the forward collision sensors. Nothing about towing and i dont have the tow package. Series 3 wagoneer.

Here is the reply that I finally received from Wagoneer Client Services. I am still a little uneasy about this. There is no explanation as to why this Addendum was placed in all of these Wagoneers from the start. Something had to spur this included documentation. Please do diligence and investigate for yourself what this all means.
