I hope that’s not the case. I got excited when I ordered it and got a VIN so soon. I guess I do not need to get my hopes up. Please let me know if you get any updates soon. I read they are supposed to start production of the 2023’s on October 12.

Believe half what you see and absolutely ZERO of what you hear! I’ve heard more bullshit about my GW that was confirmed ordered in march than I have from GM about a Z06 corvette. At this point we did duck hunting waders to wade through what you hear from jeep!

Mine has a built -ok'd status and a shipped date of 9/30. The dealer said it takes a couple of weeks to arrive so we will see. Up until now all they have done is irritate me with the cut and paste updates. I have waited this log so we shall see.

One of the parents at my sons school just showed up in a new Grand, They had also ordered the hurricane ordered and just decided to take what was on the lot.

I did get my EV Hummer last month after joining the list 3 years ago.

The first Hurricane GW3 I have located at a dealer on the lot is in Delaware. I spoke to sales and he laid eyes on it as he did not know they were getting one. It was built for a client that backed out. It is Baltic Grey over Agave Blue interior.

Does anyone have a Wagoneer with the Hurricane? What kinds of MPG are you getting?
I own a 2022 Series I with a 6.4L Hemi. I took it in yesterday for the first 5000 mile service. My truck has been awesome. They gave me a 2023 Series 3 as a loaner with a Twin Turbo Charged Hurricane engine. I drove the truck for a full day.
The gas mileage is definitely better with the Hurricane engine, maybe 3-4 miles per gallon better depending on driving.
The engine is extremely quiet. I believe the sales person I spoke to said the engine comes in two versions a larger one and a smaller one and this had the smaller one. It is quick when you step on it...but doesn't come close to the performance and sound (and fun) of my 6.4 Hemi. Ill take my 13.5mpg any day over the Hurricane.

Yes, Newark, Delaware. I drove one of them yesterday. I believe they have 2. A red and a black one.

That was back in November. I think your seat dyno is off. If you were in a Wagoneer Series 3 you had the S.O. Hurricane motor. The Grand features the H.O. 510 hp and it’s faster than the 6.4. The 0-60 best was 4.6 and the best 1/4 mile was 13.4 in my GW3. It is quieter and does have a good sound when on it just not a loud v-8 type. I have 6,xxx miles now.

So got my new GWIII this week. Engine is great. Very fast. Have not driven a Hemi, but I have an M8, and while this is clearly much different, it is surprisingly fast. The one down part is the Turbo lag. Much more noticeable than in the 2018 F-150 I traded (Although the GWIII is faster) which had the 3.5 Ecoboost. With that said once it spools it pulls hard. As far as the exhaust sound, I really did not notice one, but for me, I want a quiet ride in this one, as I get all the exhaust noise I need from my BMW.
