Is it normal that my dealer added pinstriping from headlight to taillight on both sides of my new Wagoneer III, along with “Jeep” within the pinstripe above the front door handles? We did not include this as something we wanted when we ordered our WSIII, nor do we want it now, yet they still added it and even charged me, saying that it’s required on all of their vehicles. I don’t like it at all, and based on what I’ve read, the Jeep name was intentionally left off of the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, so why would my dealer add it?

So they can charge you for it and make some extra profit. It's easily pealed off, but annoying nonetheless

It's not unheard of for dealers to do that unfortunately. They're trying to get a few extra bucks out of you. Have you asked them to remove it?
