That seems quick! It was definitely moved to In Production and not just Scheduled? Awesome news if it is In Production already! Did they give you any insight as to why the Tow Package was a longer lead time? I noticed a few changes this week on the GW Build & Price tool, including that the Tow Package is not an option and the Blue Agave interior is not an option. I wonder what the story is there. That said, there seems to be some difference between the packages on the Build and Price tool and what you can actually order at the dealers --- I originally tried to order a GWII with the Convenience Group, but that package wasn't a permitted option at the dealers despite being on the Build & Price tool. They had their desired effect I guess, because I ended up ordering a GWIII to get the features I wanted from the Convenience Group.

My order is for a GWL III in White/Tupelo Interior with the HD Tow Package, Rear Seat Entertainment, and Bench Seat. Order Confirmed Nov 10th, Scheduled on Dec 15th, but In Production still TBD.

Pretty sure as I got this message from Wagoneer:

In Production
Factory technicians are currently building your vehicle. Once assembly is complete, your vehicle will be prepared for shipping.

Great news! Your Grand Wagoneer has started the assembly process. You will receive another email once it has been built. We will continue to keep you updated on the progress of your vehicle, which you can also track using the link above.

my only thought for you is the Tow package as I was told when I ordered that it would delay my build, and while I would like to have it, I am ok without it

Interesting. At one point, I saw on the Wagoneer documentation that the Blue Agave was a limited option... maybe it has run it's course? We ordered GWLIII With the blue agave, HD Tow, and Rear Entertainment on Sept 17th and haven't moved past "Ordered Confirmed".

Got my notice Production started yesterday. I ordered mine on 12/14/22. GW III in River Rock and Agave and no other options. Was told that Tow Package was a longer lead time so skipped it.
Did they say why the tow package causes delays? Chips again? I ordered a WSI with the tow package. That blue agave interior looks sharp. Be sure to post some pictures when you get it!

When I showed the dealer my build, he said that he was told not to sell any Tow Packages, and when he want into the system it did not allow me to add it. I asked him why and he did not have an answer. He asked if I absolutely needed it. I said not really right now. He said then don't do it and hopefully it will be quicker. He said he could call someone and try to get an order in with it, but it would delay things. I decided that since I sold my boat and did not have an immediate need, I wanted my unit quicker, so followed his advice...and so far so good

Thanks. From what I understand the heavy duty tow package attaches the transmission cooler to the frame. My guess is that this is what causes the delay and that Jeep probably builds the majority of those at the same time. My dealer mentioned nothing of the sort! But when I searched my area for anything with a tow package, I found nothing available and decided to order. I'm in New Mexico, so Phoenix, Denver, Albuquerque, El Paso, and Odessa were my search areas.
