I am just curious if anyone has changed the 8 passenger seating to the captain chairs by taking out the center seat and adding the OEM center console for the second row with the screen controlling the rear HVAC?

There is another thread on this topic(2nd row middle console DELETE or middle seat DELETE). The short answer is the 2nd row is essentially a Lego set and its super simple to remove the middle 'jumper' seat. The console 'should' bolt in as both seating configs have the same physical mounting locations, the only worry would be the width of the bench ends vs captain chairs. The issue will be if the wiring is there, I would bet no.
