I like Straight 6 engines and I'm encouraged by this video. However, I'm very leary of brand-new engines and the level of growing pains and teething they may experience, especially with an automaker that is not known for its stellar reliability. I love the sound of a V8 and I like the fact that it is an OLD V8. To me this means the kinks have been worked out. For 2023, I see that the 5.7 is only available on Series 1. Likewise, the 6.4L is only available on GWS1. All the W and GW Series 2 and up get the straight 6 as the only engine choice. If I can find a good discount on a 2022 WS1 with the Premium group then I will pick it up. Otherwise, I will wait for spring of 2023 and special order a 2023 WS1 with the 5.7L. Hopefully, there will be more discounts on V8 models now that this Straight 6 will be available.

I hope numbers are closer to the 16/20 I have read other places. If it comes in at the 14.5 he talks about in the video this thing is gone. We put 35k miles a year in this as our family rig.
