How does a Wagoneer Series III not have lane keeping cruise control or either front or top view cameras standard on a vehicle this expensive? I last had a 2020 Explorer ST and Infinity QX50 that both had the technology. Really sucks!

chip shortages... had to protect for the GWs. From what I gather prior to chip issues it was supposed to be a tech group option on S1/2 and std on S3s. We ended up waiting for a S1 because it was available whereas the S2s on the the lot didn't have it. granted we lost the silly power 3rd folding and foot sensor rear gate, but not exactly a feature we cared about.

Is the package unavailable to order? Jeep's website shows a Convenience Group package with active lane management and 360 surround view camera (and other items) for $3,695.

FWIW, I'm happy that was an option and not included standard. I personally wanted the large vehicle and 5.7L V8 and very little electronic goodies. The base version was more than good enough for my wants and needs. I did get something like a $195 credit because the rear foot sensor rear gate wasn't included, certainly not a problem for me.

Its available now, well for today anyways. It was restricted/turned off back earlier this year when the chip shortages were at full steam. A lot of vehicles currently on the lot were built during that window so unless you are ordering you may have issues finding that package in dealer inventories. That will go away as more new builds start showing up. Again it was a limited problem.

I'm exactly where you are. The WSI with the premium group (Pano sunroof, 20in wheels, etc) was the sweet spot for us. The vehicle comes pretty loaded and I really didn't care for power third-row seat folding or power-folding mirrors or drive assist nannies that inflated the price a lot. That foot-operated rear tailgate is a gimmick and most window stickers I've seen have a feature delete for it.
